There is a type of Rapid Antigen Test that provides you with a small UV torch to read your results. With these tests being produced by the million, the demand for the UV LEDs (light emitting diodes) used in these torches has gone through the roof.
We believe this is the reason why our own UV torch supply has become so unreliable.
Stock is already limited, and with school going back shortly, we expect demand to outpace supply very shortly.
